At the Cistecca Festival the tasting menu is paid in Bitcoin

The 1st gastronomic and cultural festival that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment will be held in Naples.

The Cistecca Festival, reaches its third edition from June 28th to July 1st in Campi Flegrei (NA) and welcomes Bitcoin, for a fusion between tradition and innovation. At the event it will be possible to taste the true "cistecca montese", typical dish of the popular tradition of Monte di Procida and to use digital gold as an effective exchange tool. The service will be provided in collaboration between Inbitcoin, a Trentino R & D company on Bitcoin and the Cistecca Montese Consortium, which has always been attentive to new technologies and to the enhancement of the territory.

Thanks to this partnership in the Neapolitan area it will be possible to use Bitcoin for the individual pub members of the Consortium and for anyone who wants to access the tasting menu directly in cryptocurrency: news 2018 will also be the introduction of the possibility to purchase online and receive a discount on the price by paying in Bitcoin.
