The beach umbrella is paid in bitcoin

Lignano Pineta will be the first beach in Italy and perhaps in Europe to offer the possibility of access to bathing and tourist services by purchasing them in Bitcoin. The technological innovation is seen by Triveneto Servizi, at the head of the initiative, as an opportunity for innovation and implementation of the offer to tourists who every year choose the Friulian coast as a destination for summer holidays.

The project was realized through a partnership with inbitcoin, a company for the development of applications and services on digital gold. What to expect? A summer season of technology by the sea, from booking the beach umbrella to overnight at the hotel.
