Paying for food at the school canteen using bitcoin

For the first time a public service provider such as the primary school canteen has begun to accept bitcoin as a payment method for the children's meals. 

Bitcoin is becoming more widely adopted in Italy and this is the first case of a public institution accepting bitcoin.

The payment will be settled through the basic payment portal where all types of payment options are to be found. Bitcoin is accepted amongs prepayed cards and wire transfers.

 

The user will have access to a balance in bitcoin that will gradually deduct as the meals are payed.
